Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 to 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 3 pieces kaffir lime leaves
  • 1 lbs ground chicken or ground turkey
  • 1 lbs green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp roasted red chile paste
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 piece bird eye chilies, halved
  • Cooked rice

Directions

1. Heat oil in large skillet or wok on high heat. Add garlic and kaffir lime leaves; stir fry 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add chicken; stir fry until lightly browned. Add green beans, sugar, chili paste, fish sauce, water and chilies; stir fry 5 minutes or until green beans are tender-crisp. Remove kaffir lime leaves before serving.

2. Serve with cooked jasmine rice, if desired.
