Ingredients

  • 500 g of yam
  • 2 middle size tomatoes
  • 600 g of lamb
  • 1 big onion
  • 3 cloves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2l of white wine
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Chili to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1l of olive oil

Directions

1. Peel the yams and cut them into 4 pieces.
 
2. Cut the lamb into pieces.
 
3. Fry the chopped onion, the tomatoes (without peel and seeds), the chopped garlic cloves, the bay leaf and the cloves on olive oil.
 
4. When the onion becomes softer add the lamb and fry for a bit longer. Add the white wine, a little bit of water and the yam. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 50 minutes.
