Ingredients

  • 900g prepared octopus or squid, cut into small pieces
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 hot chillies, pounded to a paste

Directions

1. Add the octopus, bay leaves and oil to a pot and cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes.

2. Add the tomatoes, garlic, onion and chilli. Cook on medium heat until the vegetables soften and form a stew.

3. Serve over rice.
