  • 500g rice
  • 1l water
  • Salt, to taste

Serves 4-6

Directions

1. Bring the water to a boil. Wash the rice thoroughly then add to the boiling water.

2. Season with a little salt, reduce to a brisk simmer and cook, covered for between 20 and 25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and all the liquid has been absorbed.
