Ingredients

  • Two green plantains:
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder
  • ½ teaspoon coriander powder (or parsley flakes)
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder( or  less)
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar or 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice (for sourness/acidity)

Plantain fry – India

Serves 2-4

Directions

1. Cut the plantains in thin slices
2. Sprinkle the various spices and add the lemon juice
3. Marinate and pan fry after about ½ an hour

    Yeah not bad at all! I tried nice without the vinegar or lemon juice, and they still tasted nice (with a kick)
