Ingredients

  • 800g yams, peeled, cut into rounds and sliced into wedges
  • 60ml oil
  • Salt

Directions

1. Cut the yams into 1.5cm wedges.

2. Heat the oil in a wok until very hot.

3. Season the yam wedges with salt and fry until done.

4. Store in paper bags and use as a snack or as an accompaniment to a main meal.
